To participate
Bands must be from the Washington, DC area and play original music.
At least half of the band members must be 18 or younger.
The DC Free Recording Project is open to all styles of music but because of the short time available for each session, bands/projects must come in with finished songs.

Email info@dcfrp.com and tell us a few things about your yourselves.

We'd like to know...
1) The name of your band
2) How long this band has been active
3) If you play original music
4) Anything else you'd like to let us know (instrumentation, what kind of music you are interested in, why you started this project, your studio experience, or anything else you think is important)

We are already receiving e-mail from bands and musicians about this project and because we are starting with only about 10 sessions you should get in touch as soon as possible if you are interested.

We are offering free, short (five hour) recording sessions at
Inner Ear Studio to young, DC area bands/projects that have not yet had experience in a professional recording studio.
The sessions will be engineered by Hugh McElroy from
Swim-Two-Birds Studio.
